Taylor hopeful of more joy against Mildenhall
5:17pm Thursday 26th January 2012
FC Clacton boss Andy Taylor hopes lightning strikes twice when his side entertain Mildenhall on Saturday.
Aaron Condon’s brace gave the Seasiders a 2-1 victory when the sides met in a Ridgeons League premier division contest at Recreation Way on October 1.
And Taylor knows a repeat this weekend would be a real tonic, following last Saturday’s Ridgeons League Cup exit at Norwich United.
“It was such a great result and performance when we played there earlier in the season,” he said.
“It was the fifth game in our eight-match winning run and we were on a roll at that time.
“Hopefully we can kick-start another winning run on Saturday, especially now we’re out of the Ridgeons League Cup.
“We’ve only got the league to concentrate on and I want us to really go for it, to see how high we can finish.”
Tom Austin and James Dunkley are both available again on Saturday.
