Jaywick burglar escapes through window

A BURGLAR was caught in the act after breaking into a Jaywick house and had to escape through the window.
Police say he broke into the Union Road bungalow through a window at about 6.50pm on Sunday.
He was disturbed by the woman living at there and ran away without stealing anything.
Experts have carried out a forensic examination of the scene.
PC Bryan Heath said: “This was a very frightening experience for the woman, and I would ask anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area on Sunday evening to contact police.”
