Man denies raping woman in Clacton

A MAN is to face trial accused of raping a woman in Clacton.
Robert Elliott denied the charge when he made a brief appearance at Chelmsford Crown Court and the case was adjourned.
Elliott, 29, of Twyford House, Elwood Street, north London, is accused of raping the woman at an address in the town on July 22 last year.
He was bailed until is trial in July.
