Robber admits raid on betting shop

A MAN will be sentenced next month for robbing a Clacton bookmakers.
Nathan Dobkin admitted robbing the Ladbrokes shop in Old Road at Chelmsford Crown Court.
The 26-year-old also admitted robbing a woman of her car and two charges of attempted robbery of cars, all on September 1 last year.
Dobkin, 26, of Agincourt Road, Clacton, also admitted burglary at a house in Freshfields, Dovercourt, on June 16 last year, taking a car without consent on the same date and possessing cannabis.
Dobkin admitted other charges of common assault and driving without a licence.
The court heard the Ladbrokes robbery tool place on May 11 last year when a quantity of cash was stolen.
Dobkin was remanded in custody until he is sentenced next month. There was no application for bail.
