Fashion store staff jobs safe

STAFF at Clacton’s Bonmarche store have been told their jobs are safe after the struggling firm was bought out.
The fashion firm’s Pier Avenue branch is one of around 230 stores which will remain open after the company was taken over by Sun European Partners.
Another 160 will close with the loss of around 1,400 jobs.
The Clacton shop has 13 members of staff.
A spokesman said: "Staff are thrilled with the news that we are remaining open."
